Beautiful beach location, comfortable sea view room, clean and spacious areas

Insufficient soundproofing, limited evening entertainment, high drink prices

The breakfast was rich and absolutely fantastic for all tastes; the staff was caring. The room was well-designed: extremely comfy bed, good bathroom. Booked the hotel for its amazing and beautiful location next to the sea and Eurotel and the best beach in Algarve...

Absolutely disappointed with my stay. The bathroom was unbelievably small, barely room for one! And there was no iron in the room, a basic amenity. As a special guest, I expected at least an upgrade, but apparently that's too much to ask at this so-called hotel. Almost left a compliment but I just couldn't.

The ambience of the hotel is elegant and the staff is really helpful and very efficient.

We loved the location, because although it is not in the center of any large town, they are all within walking distance, but it is right next to the beach, which is what we were looking for. We wanted to rest and we had everything at hand. Beach, pool, spa, dining service, and several beach restaurants, so we didn't have to take the car except to visit other places. In addition the hotel staff is very professional and very friendly, they were always aware that we had everything we needed. It was a very good experience that we would be willing to repeat. Thank you.

I am very special with pillows and although it is true that I had three types to choose from, none of them met my needs. So it's not really a bad thing either, because there were three different thicknesses and sizes.

Very nice stay, we were there for 1 day. It was a great value hotel in a tranquil area, close to the restaurant by the beach with great food and very friendly staff, the Algarve and Vila Real de Santo Antonio. The check-in was early and the atmosphere was elegant overall.

Shame the bathroom was very compact.

This hotel is super nice! The view from my sea-view room was just fine, and the balcony was huge! The staff are really friendly and helps you out whenever u need it. Breakfast was definitely a highlight, so much yummy food and variety. Plus, the location is bang on, just a short walk to the beach.

But the soundproofing kinda sucked, could hear a lot from the hall. The evening entertainment was pretty lame.

Dining offered an excellent variety, with home-made jams adding a good touch. The sea view room featured a spacious balcony that enhanced the relaxing atmosphere. The soundproofing in the hotel left much to be desired, occasionally letting through noise from adjacent rooms. Limited evening entertainment options were disappointing, and some amenities felt overpriced.

Lovely stay with the kids! The pools were a big hit, especially the kids' pool, where my little ones spent hours splashing around. We also enjoyed a great breakfast overlooking the beach with just the right balance of variety and quality.

Plenty of options for breakfast in the restaurant. Quiet rooms, varied and fantastic breakfast. Nice and unbeatable location, shuttle to the airport. Besides, very convenient to Saberes do Algarve.

The proximity to the beach, the ease of parking and above all the size of the room with a balcony to enjoy the sea and dune views.

Not all the room is carpeted so the floor, which is very clean by the way, was made of imitation clay tiles. The neighbors upstairs took all the time dragging furniture, walking barefoot and moving the wheels of the bags: you can hear everything. The toilet drain in the upstairs room discharges into the bathroom of what was our room. It is uninsulated, hidden in a prefabricated tile ceiling. Every time they pulled the cistern, of which there were many, we seemed to be pulling our own, a very annoying and unintimate noise at any time of the night. The breakfast buffet was large and varied, although for a four-star hotel it seemed boring.

Recommend it for those who enjoy a good beachside stay

The beachfront access was very nice. The staff were really helpful and friendly, especially during breakfast, where the variety kept us coming back for more.

It wasn't cheap, but you get what you pay for, I guess.

The views from the balcony are stunning the breakfasts are very good and the town of Altura and beach are very nice.

The beach is excellent.

The breakfast was always cold and covered in flies. The beds were rock hard. The hotel is very isolated so we had to hire a car.Altura is a ghost town with only 3 restaurants.
